Hi there, I’m Annie! I’m a tarot card reader & empath who decided to go professional with my skills and venture into the world of light work! Born and raised in New England for 25 years, now living in the city of Angels, I offer Tarot Readings to a wide variety of clients seeking to better themselves and improve their day to day lives. What kind of Readings do you offer?

General Readings vs. Personal Readings:

Before completing your transaction, I request a brief note from you as to why you are you seeking a tarot reading. The information you provide will serve as the framework for your reading-  to ensure I touch upon the keys players/ matters in your scenario.

• You can provide to me as little or as much information as you like. It is confidential and will be discarded after your reading is completed. (Please do keep it under 2 paragraphs).

• This is purely for your benefit to get the most clarity & insight out of your reading. “The Biggest Bang for your Buck!”

• You are NOT REQUIRED to tell me anything. But keep in mind, the less I know about your situation, the more general your reading will be. If that’s cool with you, that’s cool with me! The cards that show themselves are intended for you regardless.

• If you are seeking a “general reading” that is totally fine! I’m happy to read for general messages as well as specific questions on Relationships, Career, Family Matters, etc.

Why Should I invest in a Tarot Reading/ Reader?

• Most people turn to tarot when they are having difficulties and challenges in life and need clarity or guidance. Generally people come seeking knowledge so they can implement changes in their life and make healthier decisions going forward.

• Tarot presents you with new ideas or offers clearer insight and understandings into your situation. Working with a complete stranger, with no bias or opinion on the matter can be tremendously helpful and liberating. Sometimes just hearing our feelings validated in a reading is enough. It’s different for everyone! Everyone’s story is different and yet we all share a universal connection that bonds us as human beings.

• The key is understanding that the answers you seek have always been there, hidden inside of you, Tarot just helps bring it to the surface. Self-acceptance, Self-Love & Self-Empowerment, are typically at the crux of every reading I do, in which you seek guidance. Like a pore strip, I bring the hidden gunk to the surface for you to examine and analyze. How you choose to proceed with the information from a Tarot Spread is entirely up to you.

How Much?

• Please email me to discuss what you desire from your reading & I can invoice you.

  Typically I offer the following:

• 45 Minute Reading for $65

• 1 hour Reading for $80

• “Emergency” Sessions, as needed, run about $250-$350 for Less than 4 hour turn around time.

Do you do Refunds?

Unless there is a technical issue in getting your video to you on time, generally I do not do refunds. If you provide to me the clear reason why you are seeking a tarot reading, there should be no reason why you are left feeling lost or unclear about the messages that come forward. Let’s work together to help you gain clarity and insight. That is my job, after all!

When?

• When is the best time to get a tarot reading? … Whenever your intuition tells you to, of course!

• Available time-slots for personal readings are posted on my website.

• Please check back in the future if all bookings are currently sold out. First come, first served!

• You receive your personal readings within 7 days of completing your online transaction.

• I suggest waiting a minimum of 2-3 months between personal readings to give yourself time to digest and connect with the messages at hand. Do not rush the process, but do follow up in the future if you are seeking more guidance and answers.

• Your journey of self growth does not have a fixed end point, and does not have to be linear. We are continually evolving every single day, and that is beautiful.

What is the best way to Frame a Question?

 Beginning a question with… 1) “What messages can I get regarding….” Or  2)“What can you tell me about ….”  are both good ways to ask a question and not limit yourself to a one word answer. Know what I mean, jellybean? ☺ 

Can I ask any question I want? 

Within reason, yes. If I feel your question crosses a line of morality on my end as I reader, I will let you know and ask you to provide a different question. As a rule of thumb, questions should always revolve around you- not someone else. I know that is challenging, especially in love and career readings. However, I am happy to include others in your reading, as long as it the framework of the questions revolves around you. Tarot is not about spying on people. It’s about the development of oneself. Questions you ask should always come from a place of higher vibration, and by that I mean, will the question at hand help give you clarity that will improve or change your life in some way for the better? If the answer is yes, then it is probably a question worth asking. 

What Questions should I avoid?

1) Yes or No Questions: It’s good to keep in mind Tarot is not really intended for a simple “Yes or No” Question. Can I do it, yes, but it is not my preference. Why? ….The reason being, Tarot wants to give you all the information it can to help send you down a better path to enlightenment.You can ask a yes or no question, but why limit yourself to just that? Does that one answer really empower you? Don’t you want to know more about the matter at hand? Don’t you want to know how to cope and/ or what action to take regarding your dilemma? I will answer **Most yes or no questions, but I highly encourage you to challenge yourself to come from a place of receptivity of new information & to not limit yourself to such a rigid, black or white answer. Try to ask complex questions, which require more than just “Yes or no”. 

2) Seeking Date-Specific/ Timeline Questions: Tarot does not typically give dates and timelines… why you ask? Same reason as above. It can give you a general idea- but again, I highly recommend a question with more depth and complexity to gain knowledge about your circumstance or scenario. Your personal development should not be measured by a timestamp, but rather by the courses of action you take and the changes you see from that energy.

3) Questions that violate my Moral/ Ethical code as a Reader:  If I feel your question crosses a line or goes against my moral or ethical code as a reader, I will not answer it; and that is my right as a provider of this spiritual service. (ex: “When will I die?”) The questions I will not answer are typically those which require the consultation of a medical, legal or psychiatric expert. I am not a doctor, lawyer or therapist, and tarot reading is never a substitute for any of those professions. If your questions puts me in a position to give guidance on something I do not feel comfortable doing, again I maintain the right to decline your inquiry. Again, anything that constitutes spying or seeking information about something that is not directly related to your own self-empowerment & growth, might be subject to my refusal to answer. Please use your best judgment and come from a place of positivity and an open heart. If you have more questions on this, please feel free to EMAIL ME.

4) Questions for which you desire a specific answer or outcome:  Do not come into a tarot reading seeking a specific answer to your question. That completely defeats the purpose of tarot. Tarot is meant to bring you new insight and illuminate you to possibilities you may not have ever considered before. When you come in seeking a certain answer you limit your ability to grow and learn from the situation at hand. Tarot is meant to push you to be a stronger, more enlightened person. 

Let’s be real, if you don’t get the specific answer that you were seeking, you will likely be frustrated, angry, sad, heartbroken, etc. Why do that to yourself? Why stay in a state of lower vibration. Before you ask a question- you should ask yourself, “can I frame this question in a way that offers me not only clarity but motivation & guidance on how to move forward?”

What if my reading/ messages do not resonate?

Don’t panic. Pieces of the reading will resonate on some level. However if some details are leaving you perplexed, do not get frustrated. Let the new information wash over you. Give yourself time to digest it and think it over.  Do not try to force it like unmatched puzzle pieces, as that will leave you feeling annoyed, frustrated and exhausted. If something didn’t resonate I recommend the following:

1) Let it marinate & give it time. Much like seeing a good film at the cinema, tarot readings are stories filled with symbolism and messages for the “viewer” or “audience”. It’s good to walk away and still be thinking about the material you were just presented with. Not everything will click instantly, in fact, some messages may not be fully clear to you yet for a good reason. Be patient with yourself and welcome the new information in with an open heart and open mind. There are no useless messages. 

2) Do some journaling about your learnings and what messages you did connect with. Also jot down what messages surprised you or gave you pause. Ask yourself why? If something is unclear to you now, could there be a greater reason behind it? Are there steps you’re being asked to take to seek answers on your own?  Sometimes creative writing brings out hidden things within our subconscious, much like Tarot cards do. Sometimes combining these two different tools can offer a better comprehension of the material relayed in a personal reading. Again, be patient with yourself.  

3) Sleep on it. Give it time. We don’t need to know all the answers right this very minute. Take the pieces that are still coming together and enjoy the process of being Sherlock Holmes, for the time being. See what connection you make in the coming weeks. See if new information comes into play and makes your reading resonate in new, different and maybe challenging ways. 

4) If after 3-4 months if you are still seeking additional guidance and have new clarifying questions to ask, book another reading so we can work together to help you gain more clarity of the situation at hand. Remember tarot is just one tool of many to help you in your development.

How do I know If a Tarot Reader is qualified? 

I’m going to be real with you, nobody needs a license to practice Tarot. You can do it!  Your Aunt Millie can do it too!  Your next-door neighbor’s dog can do it! But that doesn’t mean they are any good at it. And here’s another truth bomb for you: Having a “Tarot license” actually holds very little weight in the tarot community. It’s a personal choice for each reader, but IT DOES NOT QUANTIFY A LEVEL OF SKILL OR EXPERTISE. There are literally thousands of fantastic readers that simply picked up tarot along their journey of life and are some of the best, most highly respected readers out there. 

So how do you know who to choose? Great Question… My suggestion would be to check out the readings they do for free. Typically on a YouTube Channel or their personal websites. Read about them and why they do tarot! See if you connect with their energy and reading style. Chose a reader whom you have faith in their capabilities and style of tarot reading. If it doesn’t strike a chord with you, shop around! There are so many readers to choose from, and you do not have to limit yourself to just one either! 

Personally, I return to certain readers because I am fan of their style and of their readings, and because I enjoy how they deliver messages. For me I seek out three very important qualities in a Tarot Reader…   

1. They champion my own values and ideas in their readings (self-love, self-empowerment, kindness & independence, solutions- oriented, etc).

2. They have a firm grasp and knowledge of tarot cards but also utilize their own intuition and style when they read, it’s not simply a “by the book” format.

3. They push me and challenge me to think outside the box, and often communicate ideas and concepts in a new, enlightening, sometime surprising way. As a client, that is what gets me excited to work with someone in a 1:1 Tarot session.

Are Tarot Readers Psychic? Can you read my mind? Is this Fortune Telling? 

I am not a psychic and cannot read your mind. What I do is not fortune telling. (Though I would argue that tarot does have the “power to predict”) What I do is offer you a road map - based on your current situation- that can offer you insight into where things might be headed down the line. Nothing is set in stone. We all have freewill. As stated, my goal is to offer you self-empowerment with my readings. I cannot morally present a reading to my client that offers false or fictitious information. That would  go against my ethics as a reader. I can only read what the cards present to me, for better or worse. The truth is not always an easy pill to swallow, but if a message comes up, I see it as my duty to share it with the Querent. The messages are a road map for you to utilize as you navigate your journey through life. As Captain Planet would say, “The Power is Yours!” 

Some tarot readers are gifted with abilities, beyond the average person. I do believe that some readers have a 6th sense or are simply more in tune with “the Universe” or whomever, or whatever you want to call it. “God” “Source” “Spirit” “Angels” Nature … etc. I am an empath and clairsentient- so I am able to easily sense and physically feel peoples emotional energies and vibrations. This is a both a blessing and a curse, as I have to be very protective of my own energy and aware not to take on that of others. I will say, it has been a very useful gift during my journey into the world of tarot, allowing me to connect with my clients on a much deeper level. 

To be very clear, being a tarot reader does not necessarily indicate that a person possess any supernatural powers.  ANYONE can practice tarot. Like any other skill or hobby, you learn by doing and studying. I like to think everyone has their own super power, and if you haven’t discovered yours yet, tarot just might be the tool to help you uncover it! 

How does Tarot Work exactly? 

Tarot is not that different from a traditional deck of cards- only its 4 suits are traditionally Cups, Pentacles, Wands and Swords. Each suit or “element” holds a different meaning  and tell a story, borrowing imagery & symbolism from systems of astrology, chakra & crystal work, Kabbala and numerology. There are court cards including the Pages, Knights, Queen’s & Kings, and Cards 0 through 22, are The Major Arcana cards. These Majors tell the story of “The Fool’s Journey”. It is through hardships, challenges, celebration and victories that “The Fool” (symbolically all of us) obtains important knowledge and life lessons. So when you come to a Tarot Reading seeking clarity or guidance, it is through this very detailed and intricate framework, a tarot reader can draw out messages for you. You could write an entire book on tarot cards, and still barely scratch the surface. Ultimately you can save yourself time by going to a reader who is already skilled in the tarot. 

Some believe tarot is magic. Some do not. Some believe tarot taps into what exists only within our subconscious … I definitely subscribe to that belief. The message that comes through can be so poignant and life changing, and can set you off on a completely different path. That’s what tarot did for me! And I hope that’s what tarot can do for you too!

Will this contradict my own beliefs/ personal faith and/or spirituality? 

You can still participate in tarot and have no religious ties, beliefs, or spiritual affiliations etc. But I’m not going to lie… it helps to believe in something. Whatever that is for you, be it God, Universe, Spirit, Goddess, Fairies, Unicorns, Leprechauns- WHATEVER! I have no stake in your spiritual beliefs, whatsoever. That is your business and yours alone. However, having some concept that there is something greater at work in the universe beyond just you and I, will help you to find more value in a tarot reading. Tarot offers us broader perspectives that reach beyond simple limits of man/ woman/ child. Whatever religion you subscribe to (or not) is welcome. I don’t judge or discriminate, and my readings are not based in any type of religious scripture. I will never push any sort of spiritual ideologies upon to you. At a minimum tarot asks you to believe in yourself and to recognize that you have the greatest power over your destiny. 

Is Tarot the work of the Devil? 

Nope! It has nothing to do with worshiping the Devil or anything malicious or evil! So let’s put that myth to rest once and for all! Spoiler Alert! When the “Devil Card” appears in a Tarot reading it indicates that someone is stuck, struggling with additions, toxic behavior or an unhealthy relationship. The Devil card is a METAPHOR as are all the cards in Tarot. Fear not my friends! Tarot is safe. No ghouls, demons or zombies will getcha! 

My life is a mess… I am a mess. Can Tarot really help me? 

Tarot is a tool. It is One of Many Outlets that can help you. It is used to seek answers from within ourselves, which might be hard to access or process completely on our own. It can tap into your subconscious and uncover things you didn’t even know were hidden within you. By connecting with your energy and/or predicament, a tarot reader can relay messages on what the cards present in relationship to your current situation. Can Tarot cards alone solve your problem? Absolutely not. Can Tarot assist in showing you a new perspective, avenues and opportunities that empower you to make healthy decision, actions and improvements in your life? Hell Yes, my friend! If you are open to self-examination and self-growth, Tarot is one great tool to help send you down a better path to live your best life!  The information and guidance you receive in a reading is a mere stepping-stone from which you can start to take initiative, ownership & action.
